In January 2022, Kathleen Ossip and I launched SEAM to bring more poetic voices to more people. The multitude of virtual conversations and meetings that arose during COVID days underscored how access to live poetry readings had been limited by geographical barriers. SEAM began in order to connect readers and writers from across the world, which indeed has happened.
